You might dismiss me as a dork, now that you know. I am hooked on LOST. I have always, always loved mysteries, and it is only natural I would become hooked on a show like this since it is one big never-ending mystery. Ahhhhh. The plots, the twists, the burning questions. The psych major in me loves analyzing the characters (favorite character to analyze–Sawyer), as over the seasons you learn more and more and more about them. I enjoy reading Rocks in My Dryer’s Lost recaps – so, so funny.
My burning questions:
- What in the world happened to Claire?! Where did she go? WHY did she walk off in the woods with her dead-but-not-dead father and leave her three-month-old baby?
- Why was Libby in the mental institution with Hurley? (Yes, I am STILL wanting that answered!)
- Where did Rose and Bernard go?
- How come Richard Alpert never ages? (And did anyone catch that in the latest episode Sawyer referred to him as the guy with eyeliner, cracks me up!)
- Are the numbers still significant?
- Are “Ellie” from the H-bomb time jump episode and Eloise Hawking one in the same? (PS. I know it’s old-fashioned, but I love the name Eloise!!)
- How did Locke’s father get on the island?
Okay, so, if you don’t watch LOST, I know I just made you waste your time reading this post! Come back next week for Hooked-On, I actually have something house-related!!
Another week of Hooked on Fridays! Love it!

I saw you through hooked on houses and had to say that I totally agree with you about all your Lost questions. I’m crazy about that show. I think it’s so well done but all the mystery is driving me nuts…but in a good way. What’s gonna happen now with Sawyer, Juliet and now Kate. Ahhh! I can’t wait.
I happened to notice on your sidebar that you lost a baby. I’m so sorry for you. I also lost a child- my little girl was born at 21 weeks when they tried to stop the delivery but couldn’t. Even though I don’t even know you I do understand that kind of pain and sorrow. I just wanted to let you know that it does get better and easier with time.
If you’re a dork, I’m a dork! I LOVE LOST! I’m a LOSTIE! I have every season DVD. I don’t watch it on tv because I prefer the all night marathons…lol. Awesome show!

Lisa,
Thank you so much for your kind words. That you would even take the time to say something means so much to me! Thank you. It is hard right now, especially when the sorrow comes unexpectedly. Again, thank you.
I am visiting via H.O.H. Great post! Where is Claire INDEED!
I hope you’ll stop by for a visit, I am hosting a giveaway.
I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve never seen a single episode of Lost. I’m probably the only one in the country who doesn’t know who Claire is! I need to get with it. Maybe I’ll rent the first season on DVD when I have a chance and see what it’s all about. Thanks!
I agree I am so hooked on lost. My hubby and I started the series during the writers strike. I rented them. We would watch two hours a night sometimes. It’s just the best and it’s one wild ride!!
Missed this post last week, but I am completely hooked on Lost, too! I read Doc Jensen’s recaps on the EW website and I posted about Lost a couple of days ago (specifically the funny Lost Untangled comic-book-video recaps on ABC’s website). It’s so fun to find people to enjoy this with!
I agree with your questions, and will add the obvious ones from this season:
Why did Kate leave Aaron behind, and where is he?
How did they all end up on that flight (esp Hurley and Sayid)?
Why didn’t Sun, Ben, and Lapidus go back in time too?
Did/will the future change because of our Losties being in Dharma?
And these golden oldies:
What is/controls the smoke monster?
Who is/are the real bad guys?
Who is Jacob?
We seem to be getting so many answers this season, even as the mystery builds and gets more complicated. I can’t wait for next Wednesday!
